Mozhdah Jamalzadah is an Afghan-Canadian singer, actress, and television host. She was born on December 7, 1985, in Kabul, Afghanistan, and moved to Canada during childhood. She studied Philosophy and Political Science at the University of British Columbia and Broadcast Journalism at BCIT. Her song “Dokhtare Afghan” gained national attention.
