Kate was born in Dublin to Actors Stephen Brennan (Tudors/Eat the Peach) and Martina Stanley (Fair City). She is part of a very well known and respected acting family in Ireland. Her Grandfather was one of the original radio stars Denis Brennan and her Grandmother, Daphne Carrol / Brennan, as well as working in the rep in RTE, starred in TV shows such as Strumpet City.
