Jonathan Martin is an American political journalist native of Arlington, Virginia. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College. He was the national political correspondent for The New York Times for nearly a decade. He is the politics bureau chief and senior political columnist at POLITICO, and regularly provides on-air political analysis for ABC, NBC and CBS.
