Espen Beranek Holm (born 23 March 1960 in Oslo) is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, comedian and actor, widely known under the artist name Beranek. He debuted in 1981 with the controversial hit single Dra te hælvete, which was banned by NRK yet became a chart success, and followed up with albums such as Sound of Danger (1981) and X-Ray (1983), the latter winning him a Spellemann prize.
