Eric Smith

Biography

Dr. Eric Smith is the Associate Director for Research in the Science Mission Directorate’s Astrophysics Division at NASA Headquarters. He is also the Program Scientist for the JWST. Previously, Dr. Smith served as the JWST Program Director. Prior to becoming the Program Director in 2010, he was both the JWST and Hubble Program Scientist.
