Daniel “Hurricane” Gilbert, born 18 March 1974 in Hindås, Härryda Municipality, Sweden, is a Swedish musician, singer-guitarist, and songwriter. He first came to prominence as a founding member of the influential indie rock band Broder Daniel in the late 1980s, which he formed with classmates including Henrik Berggren and Håkan Hellström during their school years in Gothenburg.
