Ma-Deaw Chookiat Sakveerakul is a film director and screenwriter, born in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He graduated from school 'Montfort College' in Chiang Mai and at Faculty of Communication Arts Department of Film from Chulalongkorn University. Chookiat's first feature film was an ensemble drama, "The Passenger of Li', which was an independent production.
