Anton Adriaan (Ad) Mussert (Werkendam, May 11, 1894 – The Hague, May 7, 1946) was a Dutch politician and engineer who, as one of the founders, led the Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland (NSB) and collaborated with the Nazis during the years of the Second World War. From 1942 until May 1945, the occupiers, the NSB, and their sympathizers presented him as the leader of the Netherlands.
