Biography
An Egyptian poet and writer, born in the village of Abnoud, Qena Governorate, in 1938, before he moved with his family to the city of Qena. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language from Cairo University, and was well versed in the Arabic language. He formed a creative trio with Amal Dunqul and Yahya Al-Taher, and they wrote classical poetry in the early sixties, after which he turned into colloquial poetry, which was turned into many songs for the most prominent singers, including Abdel...
