Overview

Vidas de Carolina tells the story of two women who make a living collecting recyclable waste. The documentary was inspired by the life of waste picker and writer Carolina Maria de Jesus. Accounts from the writer's family members and excerpts from the book Quarto de Despejo connect the three stories.
