Thomas Szasz, MD famously challenged modern psychiatry in his book 'The Myth of Mental Illness,' saying that the profession was largely pseudoscience. In this edited interview, recorded just two years before his death, he discusses the intellectual foundations of his theories, and why these theories are so threatening to the psychiatric establishment.
