Overview

The Headliner is a multi-generational musical drama that explores the evolution, exploitation, and enduring spirit of hip-hop culture. The film follows a reclusive, legendary producer from the genre's "golden era" who is forced out of retirement to collaborate with a fiercely talented but unguided modern street rapper.
