Overview
A young teacher in Zurich in the 1950s falls in love with a transvestite star but is torn between his bourgeois existence and his commitment to homosexuality. He joins a gay organization that is eventually seen as the pioneer of gay emancipation in Europe.

This is the true story of the first gay couple in Switzerland to get married. The movie is told in two parts, the present talking with the actual guys and the past in the 60's where they were played by actors. They did a good job blending it together where it didn't feel like a documentary. I enjoye…
