Overview

Lean and Sonali, a lesbian couple married for nine years, are ready to take the next step: having a child. They’ve long discussed whose body will carry the baby, whose egg to use, and have just chosen a donor who seems like every Asian parent’s dream. As they prepare to share the exciting news at a family gathering, the unthinkable happens—one of them suddenly changes her mind, putting their carefully laid plans and their relationship to the test.
