The “Weightless Trilogy” is a loose thematic grouping of films by Terrence Malick, consisting of To the Wonder (2012), Knight of Cups (2015), and Song to Song (2017). While not connected through a continuous narrative, the three films are informally grouped under this label because they share a distinctive formal style and thematic preoccupations with love, desire, and subjective experience in contemporary life.
