The Trilogy of Borders
The “Trilogy of Borders” is a loose thematic cycle of films by Theo Angelopoulos, consisting of The Suspended Step of the Stork (1991), Ulysses' Gaze (1995), and Eternity and a Day (1998). While not connected through a continuous narrative, the three films explore the geopolitical and emotional boundaries of the Balkans, often following wandering protagonists caught between nations, identities, and histories.
